Dorothy Fedrau Donaldson passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2022, at Vista Park, in Douglas, GA. Mrs. Donaldson was born on May 31, 1920, in Rochester, N.Y., to the late Albert and Emma Fedrau. Mrs. Donaldson was survived by many relatives in the Shafer and Fedrau families most of all lived and died in Rochester, N.Y. Her husband, Donald N. Donaldson passed away in 2005. South Georgia State College’s men’s basketball team pulled away in the second half Saturday afternoon to defeat Florida Gateway College 80-55. In addition, the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association has named SGSC’s Carlos Hart as the Division I Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. The Hawks (7-3) took advantage of a strong defensive performance in Saturday’s win. SGSC held Florida Gateway College to 27 percent shooting and forced a total of 36 turnovers.
