She was born in Florida when her parents (who were sharecropper farmers) went to Avon Park to work temporarily at the orange juice plant. Dorothy was raised in the rural community of Wilsonville of Coffee County, Georgia and graduated from Nicholls High School. Daniel Allen Guernsey, age 50, of Coffee County, GA, was arrested and charged with one count of Sexual Exploitation of Children by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes (CEACC) Unit. The GBI CEACC Unit began an investigation into Guernsey’s online activity after receiving a cybertip report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding the possible online possession of child sexual abuse material. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announces the promotion of Jason Seacrist to Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the GBI’s Region 4 Field Office in Douglas, Georgia.
