On the morning of April 29, 2022, the City of Douglas Quality-of-Life Task Force patrolled the city looking for common code violations. The Quality-of-Life Task Force consists of city department heads and city staff that have been trained to look for problem areas in neighborhoods to help reduce crime in the community and provide a better place for citizens. The Douglas-Coffee County Veterans Park stands as a great memorial to veterans in our community and beyond. An aspect of the park is the Pave the Way Brick Memorial which has hundreds of veterans’ names carved honoring veterans and veterans who have served during war and peace.
