The articulation agreement will provide Wiregrass graduates and employees who have an associate degree the opportunity to advance their personal, educational, and career goals by continuing their education at WGU. WGU is a private, nonprofit institution that offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business, information technology, K–12 teacher education, and health professions, including nursing. The Division I men’s basketball coaches of the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) have selected three members of South Georgia State College’s men’s basketball team for All-Region Honors. SGSC also hosted a GCAA tournament quarterfinal game Tuesday night. Jayce Moore, a 6’3″ sophomore from Douglas, Ga., was named the Defensive Player of the Year. He was also a GCAA All-Region First Team selection and was named to the GCAA’s All-Defensive Team. Moore averaged 13.9 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game this season.
