At the City Commission meeting on Monday, May 25, 2021, the Mayor and City Commission voted to rescind the mask mandate for employees and visitors inside City of Douglas owned facilities and offices. The show will be held during the week of June 8-12. Mrs. Carolyn Gail Veazey Reynolds, age 77 of Broxton, GA passed away Monday evening May 24, 2021 at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital in Savannah, following an extended illness. Mrs. Reynolds was born May 25, 1943 to the late Frank Worth Veazey, Sr. and the late Mildred Louise Benton Veazey. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James R. “Bobby” Reynolds, Sr. and a son Travis Reynolds. Mrs. Reynolds, a native of Coffee County, was a homemaker.
