Mr. Hilton Purvis, age 85 of Willacoochee, passed away late Wednesday evening, May 26, 2021 at his daughter’s residence in Douglas following an extended illness. Mr. Purvis was born August 15, 1935 to the late Albert Purvis and the late Henrietta Cribbs Purvis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Patricia Ann Courdle and Angela Christy. Mr. Purvis, a native of Coffee County, was a self-employed concrete contractor. Mr. Copeland, a native of Anderson County, TX was born July 29, 1931 to the late Albert Allen Copeland and the late Lockey Marr Copeland.
