She is the daughter of the late Paul White and Omi Lee White. Mrs. Tanner is survived by her husband, Floyd Tanner of Douglas, GA. Son: Jimmy Tanner of Douglas, GA. Mr. William “Mike” M. Boyd, age 59 of Willacoochee, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at his home in Willacoochee. Survivors include: Parents: Hewey Dean and Lyvonne Paulk Boyd of Willacoochee Brother: Gregory Boyd and wife Hannah of Angir, N.C. Ms. Joan Marie Lee, age 60 of Pearson, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Memorial Satilla Health Hospital in Waycross following an extended illness. Mrs. Deems was born January 3, 1928 to the late Oliver Corbitt and the late Lillie Batten Corbitt. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Martha R. Meeks, age 95, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Meeks was born on September 23, 1925 in Coffee County, Georgia the daughter of the late Albert Newton Johnson and Jenny Irene Reid Johnson. Mrs. Meeks retired from Coffee County School System as a teacher, volunteered at the HOPE Center and was member of Douglas First Baptist Church. On December 17, 2020, Coffee County deputies located two wanted persons at a residence in Coffee County. The wanted person was identified as Jimmy Lydell Thomas, 36, of Douglas, and Andrea Harrell, 30, of Douglas. Thomas was wanted on outstanding warrants for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Firearm during the commission of a crime, Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer and a Probation Violation warrant.
