Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Director of Economic Development and Cook Campus, Bill Tillman has earned the certification of Certified Program Planner from Learning Resources Network (LERN). LERN is the world’s largest association in continuing education programs. Tillman participated in a virtual LERN Conference this past fall where he took the certification classes and then sat for the certification exam. A Coffee County female faces multiple drug charges following a traffic stop in the Green Acres community last week. Coffee County K-9 deputies conducted the stop on Friday, Jan. 15, initially due to equipment violations. The driver, Stefanie Lynn Adams, subsequently consented to a search of the vehicle. As a result of the roadside investigation, deputies discovered a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and the anti-anxiety controlled substance drug Alprazolam. Three people were jailed on multiple drug charges in Coffee County recently following a suspected attempt to sneak various illegal substances into the Coffee County Jail. An inmate at the jail, Amber Dorsey, appeared in Coffee County Superior Court on Wednesday, Jan. 13. After pleading guilty to one charge of possession of methamphetamine, Dorsey was placed on probation and scheduled to be released from jail the same day. Dorsey subsequently telephoned a second suspect, Jonathan Medley, requesting Medley to pick her up from the jail upon her release. Medley arrived at the Coffee County Jail later the same…
