Ann Hayes Carver, age 80, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 at The Landings. Mrs. Carver was born on June 8, 1940 in Newnan, Georgia the daughter of the late Amos Errett Hayes and Kathryn Johnson Hayes. Mrs. Carver was a graduate of Georgia State University, retired mortgage loan officer, and was a member of First Congregational Christian Church, Douglas, Georgia. The City of Douglas and Waste Industries will offer two free residential Junk Drop-Off Days in November to help citizens rid properties of excess trash and large items. The upcoming dates will be Saturday, November 7 and 21, 2020 at the City Pole Yard located at 670 S. Pearl Avenue from 8:30am-12 noon. Citizens must be in the drop off line prior to 11:45am.
