Mr. James Herman Merritt, age 76 of Nicholls, passed away Monday afternoon, October 19, 2020 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Merritt was born November 20, 1943 to the late Brooks Merritt and the late Reba Hutchison Merritt Davis. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Brooks Merritt.
