Ms. Sandra Lee Stone Pierce, age 78 of Douglas, passed away early Thursday morning August 6, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Ms. Pierce was born May 19, 1942 to the late James Garfield Stone and the late Agnes Mae Easterling Stone. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, James Stone, Lon Robert Stone, Dorothy Mae Kinder and Wanda Darlene Mossage, and three grandchildren, Donnie Ray Tanner, Jr., Charles Troy Tanner and Cindy Marie Bounds. Mr. Harry Branch Hightower, age 86 of Ambrose, passed away Monday afternoon, August 3, 2020 at his residence following a short illness. Mr. Hightower was born September 24, 1933 to the late Roy Hightower and the late Florence Althea McDonald Hightower. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Roy Hightower, Maurice Hightower and Thomas Hightower. Motorized carts must weigh less than 1,300 pounds and cannot exceed 20 miles per hour.
