To best meet the future care needs of our community and meet the global pandemic’s challenges, Coffee Regional Medical Center (CRMC) was recently granted two essential requests. After careful consideration, Coffee Regional Medical Center recently made two applications to the state of Georgia. One application was for additional nurses, respiratory and physical therapists, and medical and laboratory technologists. Coffee County Drug Unit agents have assisted the Ware County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit detectives with a narcotics investigation that led to the arrest of Tony Ricardo Street. The information involved the illegal sales of a narcotics, specifically methamphetamine. Ware County detectives coordinated their efforts with information received from the Coffee County Drug Unit. Jessica Ann Washburn is a convicted sex offender in the State of Georgia. She was convicted in Coffee County Superior Court for statutory rape on March 3, 2012. Due to that conviction she is required to register as a sex offender. With this requirement Washburn has certain rules and regulations she must abide by.
