By taking summer classes, students have an opportunity to complete their degree faster and save money. Dr. Kenneth Trevor Shealy, a native of Cordele, has joined the staff of Fitzgerald Family Eyecare. Dr. Shealy graduated from Crisp County High School. He completed undergraduate studies at Point University in West Point, Ga., where he majored in Biology and minored in Biblical studies. Dr. Shealy graduated from Point University Summa Cum Laude. More than a dozen people across the Southern District of Georgia, including one man from Douglas, have been indicted for felony crimes, including federal firearms violations, during an unprecedented virtual grand jury session necessitated by COVID-19 precautions.
