Some of the mandated guidelines included screening temperatures on entry, requiring lifeguards/aquatic supervisors to wear masks, and social distancing by limiting the number of swimmers allowed in the water and restrooms. In addition to closing for COVID-19, the city pool will be closed for major capital improvements, which are scheduled to begin Fall 2020. Once the pool reopens, citizens can expect to see a new pool house, wading pool, eight lane competition pool, and other amenities.
