Satilla Riverkeeper cleans up 11 sites over 200 miles of river Satilla Riverkeeper is proud to report that our river wide cleanup effort on Saturday, September 21 was a success. Volunteers came out to 11 sites stretched across over 200 miles of river, from the headwaters in Douglas (Coffee County) to the estuaries in Camden and Glynn Counties. About 130 volunteers came out at 9AM on Saturday morning. Local Farm Bureau receives district awards Coffee County Farm Bureau received three awards for its volunteer programs during the Georgia Farm Bureau 10th District annual meeting, held Sept. 12 in Waycross. Derek Pridgen is the CCFB president. The CCFB Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) Committee, chaired by Walt Pridgen and co-chaired by Spencer Highsmith, received the GFB 10th District Outstanding Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee Award.
