Richard Hollinger, age 53, of Ambrose, passed away on Sunday September 8, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Hollinger was born on May 12, 1966 in Stuart, Florida, the son of Brenda Fay King Hollinger and the late William C. Hollinger Sr. Mr. Hollinger was a farmer and was preceded in death by one sister, Lisa Marie Hollinger. Miss Leslie Flores, age 14 of Pearson, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 at her home in Pearson. Survivors include: Parents Miguel and Olga Flores of Pearson; brothers Angel Flores, Dylan Flores, and Bryan Flores; sister Dyana Flores; and several other relatives also survive. Funeral services for Miss Flores were held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 5:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson. The interment followed in Satilla Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Relihan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Martha Latrelle Chaney, age 64, of Broxton, passed away on Sunday September 8, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Chaney was born on April 11, 1955 in Coffee County, the daughter of the late James Cleveland Hersey and the late Gladys Rubymae Greer Hersey. She worked as CNA at Coffee Regional Medical Center. SGSC Foundation welcomes new trustees and officers The South Georgia State College Foundation kicked off its new year and welcomed three new members to its Board of Trustees at the August meeting. Mr. Andrew Holt, Mrs. Darlene Paulk and Mr. Oscar Street each will serve a three-year term as part of the Class of 2022. Each are alumni of SGSC and call the Douglas area home.
