Mrs. Barbara Ann Griffis Mullis, age 77 of Millwood, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas following an extended illness. Survivors include: Sons Brent Hoopiiaina and wife, Judy of Ambrose and Billy Anderson and wife, Millie of Orem, Utah; daughters Kelly Davis of Millwood, Elaine Day of Darien, and Kori Martin and husband, Devoy of Waycross; 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Wiregrass signs apprenticeships with Transpower, Optima Chemical The term apprenticeship is making a comeback in Georgia and through the Technical College System of Georgia. Wiregrass Tech has recently signed apprenticeship agreements with two local industries, Transpower and Optima Chemical.
