Police, fire and other agencies host National Night Out Against Crime The City of Douglas Police Department, Douglas Fire Department, and other local public safety agencies held the third annual National Night Out Against Crime event on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at South Georgia State College. Two drug traffickers, including an illegal alien with ties to a Mexican drug cartel, will spend more than a decade in federal prison after sentencing in a methamphetamine conspiracy.
