This system helps students to see the connection between different subjects like Agriculture, English, Language Arts, and Physical Science. Students and staff were presented with several incentives to encourage reading, such as checking out a book for an opportunity to win a Zaxby’s gift card and guessing candy in jars to win a gift certificate. The national swim meet is over and South Georgia State College women’s swim team has earned its fourth consecutive national runner up award in the annual NJCAA swim meet in Buffalo, New York. The Hawk women earned 567 points to again the winning team from Indian River State College. Iowa Central placed third in the women’s side of the competition.
