Any new student who applies in person on this day will have the application fee waived. Seven very talented students of South Georgia State College from the Douglas and Waycross Campuses attended the Region IV Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The students participated in professional development workshops, competed in the Irene Ryan Acting Competition, and attended several live theatre productions. The role of a regional coordinator is to provide leadership and guidance for their respective region and act as liaison between advisors in their region and Society Headquarters. Coffee freshman FFA competes in the Area 6 Nursery/Landscape CDE Recently, the Coffee Freshmen FFA Chapter placed first at the Area 6 Nursery/Landscape Career Development Event (CDE). Carter Young (18:03) and Kate Merritt (22:11) won Coffee Regional’s 20th annual Heart 2 Heart 5K on Feb. 23. They bested a field of 133 runners and walkers to claim first place. The 5K (3.1 mile) race was part of the 2019 Georgia Grand Prix Series. In addition to the 5K event, the race also featured a three-mile walk, and a one mile fun run.
