Mrs. Vivian Ricketson Law, age 73 of Douglas passed away early Wednesday morning, January 31, 2018 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Law, was born August 30, 1944 to the late Tom Watson Ricketson and the late Rose Lee Harrell Ricketson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell Ray Law. Mrs. Law, a native of Coffee County, retired as a Ward Clerk with Coffee Regional Medical Center. The competition was held at the Blackshear Elementary School and hosted by the PC STEAM team. South Georgia State College’s men’s basketball team overcame a poor shooting night to defeat the Central Georgia Tech Titans 76-69 in GCAA conference play Wednesday night. The Hawks (17-6, 6-3) made only 12 baskets in the first half (32 percent) and still led 36-33 at halftime.
