Registration for Color Run now open. The Okefenokee Heritage Center is proud to host the Third Annual Color Run. “The Color Run is a great community event for a good cause,” Nancy King said. “The money raised provides scholarships and supplies for our Youth Art Camp over the summer.” There will be two runs on March 31st, a 5k and a 1 mile fun run. The leadership at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College has made an investment in technology and support that is helping them take steps to navigate students through college as easy as possible. On Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, City of Douglas employees and community members are invited to participate in the annual “Day On” community project, in honor of the Martin Luther, King Jr. Holiday, at the historic Oak Grove Cemetery located off of Hwy 441S on Hwy. 107, which is also known as the Broxton-West Green road.
