Students at ICE took a step back in time thanks to Mrs. Tammy Bennett’s 1st grade class and Mrs. Shelly Lott’s 2nd grade class. These first and second graders chose, researched, and wrote a paper about historical figures. They also worked at home to prepare a poster and find a costume that represented their person. The ICE student body was able to take a tour through this living history museum and learn about prominent Americans from the past. These projects were a huge success!
Thanks to a little help from their friends, third, fourth, and fifth grade Cardinals are ready to show what they know on the GMAS. Thank you to the CHS cheerleaders, the Creek Choir, all staff members, and to our younger Cardinals who helped cheer them on this past Friday. ICE Cardinals say, “We believe in you! You can do this!”

March is Hemophilia Awareness Month. Zander Kirkland, a kindergarten student at West Green Elementary School, was diagnosed from birth with hemophilia. This diagnosis affects everything he does, but it does not hold him back from doing everything that he wants to do. He still plays basketball, football, baseball, and plays like any other child would. Hemophilia is a bleeding disease that many people do not hear about and prevents blood from clotting properly, so a person who has it bleeds more than someone without it does. To show their support of Zander, a display was created in the hallway near his…
