Rachel Pace from Coffee Middle was named the new county-wide 2015-2016 Teacher of the Year Tuesday during the school system’s annual convocation ceremonies. Entering her 10th year with the school district, Mrs. Pace is a 1999 graduate of Coffee High School. She attended South Georgia State College, earning her Associate of Science in Education. Katie Ricketson, a member of the Coffee FFA chapter, began her term as the Area 6 Vice-President on July 31 when the Georgia FFA area officers met for the Area Officer Training Conference. Forty-eight new area officers from six areas of the state attended the two-day training conference held at the FFA Camp John Hope near Fort Valley.
