Carlton Burch, age 76, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Burch was born on February 19, 1949, in Coffee County, GA, to the late Willis and Ruby Kirkland Burch.
His survivors include: his beloved wife, Joyce C. Burch of Douglas, GA; four sons: Jerome (Samantha) Burch of Douglas, GA, Dennis (Amanda) Burch of West Green, GA, John (Roberta) Burch of Douglas, GA, and Lee Burch of Virginia; three daughters: Linda (Charlie) Young of Douglas, GA, Cheryl Land of Douglas, GA, and Jeannie Vaughn of Broxton, GA; 39 grandchildren; 55 Great Grandchildren; one brother, Joe (Marie) Burch of Broxton, GA; one sister, Jenelle Kirkland of Douglas, GA; brother in law, Donald Guess of Blackshear, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Unity Church with Rev. Joseph Cochran and Rev. Grady Seawright Jr. officiating. The interment will follow the service at Chatterton Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be: Jerome Burch, Zach Burch, John Burch, Andrew Burch, Austin Burch, and Ted O’Steen.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Members of Mr. Burch’s Sunday School Class.
