Mr. Danny Ray Good, age 73, of Ambrose, Georgia, passed away Monday evening, December 29, 2025, at Coffee Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family following a recent illness.
Danny was born October 24, 1952, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, to the late Thelma Louise Good. He was a plumber at Fleetwood industries for many years and a member of Harvest Time Church of God. He was a loving husband, granddaddy, and great granddaddy. He enjoyed football, fishing, and a good meal. He played high school football. He found his greatest joy in time spent with his family and fellowshipping at church with his church family. Along with his mother, Danny was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay Arsenault; a grandson, Michael Branson; 2 granddaughters: Meagan Nelson and Courtney Arsenault; 2 sisters: Margie Lawless and Charlotte Bureau.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Dianne Sweat Good of Ambrose, Georgia; 3 daughters: Lynn A. Branson and husband Chris of Jacksonville, Florida, Ronda A. Nelson and husband Bum of Ambrose, Georgia, and Rebecca G. Whitley and husband Mitchell of Alma, Georgia; a son, Gerald Arsenault and wife Marisha, of Alma, Georgia; 8 grandchildren: Nick Branson, William Nelson, Haley Taylor, Kevin Whitley, Torri Eason, Jayme Thrift, Jimmy Thrift, and Jada Arsenault; 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Ricky Good of Lake City, Florida; a sister, Pat Johnson of Lake City, Florida; along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Danny’s family will honor his wishes for memorialization by cremation, and the family will hold a memorial service to honor his life on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Harvest Time Church of God with Bishop Glen Fussell officiating.
