Mrs. Denise M. Russo, age 70, of Douglas, Ga. passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness.
Mrs. Russo was born on June 5, 1953 in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of the late Louis Frank Viola and Jean Irvin Chase. She had made her home in Douglas for many years and was a homemaker. Mrs. Russo enjoyed reading, cooking, going to the beach, her dogs, and especially loved her family and grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Carol Viola.

3 Sons: Luke Manchester and wife Tierney of Pearson, Ga.
Jay Russo of Vero Beach, Fl.
Larry Batten and wife Sarah of Douglas, Ga.
2 Brothers: Bob Viola and wife Helene of Fort Myers, Fl.
Skip Viola of Miller Place, N.Y.
Sister: Lois Crane and husband Mark of Pensacola, Fl.
7 Grandchildren: Evan Russo, Kaden Batten, Jase Batten, Bri Clark, Bri Hearrell, Daylon Manchester, and Hayden Manchester.
Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Memorialization is by cremation.
