Between March 17 and March 22, 2026, multiple traffic stops conducted by the Douglas Police Department and the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit resulted in several arrests and the seizure of illegal narcotics and firearms.
On March 17, 2026, officers with the Douglas Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of North Madison Avenue and East Jackson Street. During the stop, Brandy Sweat was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. The Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit was notified and assumed the investigation.
Later that same day, the D.I.C.E. Unit conducted a traffic stop on Georgia Highway 32 West. The stop led to a residential search carried out by the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit and the Criminal Investigations Division. As a result of the investigation, Leslie Crosby was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
On March 18, 2026, officers with the Douglas Police Department, along with the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit, conducted a traffic stop involving Benjetta Swinson. Following a brief investigation, Swinson was found to be in possession of a stolen firearm, fentanyl, molly, and methamphetamine.
On March 20, 2026, the D.I.C.E. Unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highway 441 North. During the stop, agents discovered a large quantity of methamphetamine on Corry Hulett. Hulett was subsequently charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
On March 21, 2026, the Douglas Police Department conducted a traffic stop involving Adan Granadas-Camacho. Officers suspected Camacho of driving under the influence. The Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit was notified, and after a brief investigation, Camacho was found to be in possession of cocaine and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
On March 22, 2026, officers with the Douglas Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of North Madison Avenue near North Street. Billy Reliford was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. The Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit was notified and took over the investigation.
