Tuesday night, deputies from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office ended an armed domestic dispute that took place on Kingwood Road near Broxton.
According to a release from the sheriff’s office, Lucio David Osornio, 47, arrived at the home armed with two handguns. He barricaded himself inside the home after making terroristic threats, according to the release.
Deputies were able to get everyone out of the home safely and negotiate Osornio’s surrender. He was arrested and charged with burglary in the 1st degree, home invasion in the 1st degree, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, terroristic threats and acts, and possession of a firearm during certain crimes. He was transported to the Coffee County Jail where he remains.
Troopers from the Georgia State Patrol assisted with the investigation.
