Ms. Diane Mary McIntire, age 82, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away Monday morning May 11, 2026, at Vista Park Health and Rehabilitation Center following lengthy illness.
Ms. McIntire was born October 3, 1943, in Avon, Ohio, to the late John Wagner and the late Mary Jane Hahn Beard. She was a self-employed housekeeper for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved to fish and loved all animals. She was a collector of many things and enjoyed watching wrestling. She was of the Catholic Faith. Along with her parents, Ms. McIntire was preceded in death by a son, Robert Kovach.
Ms. McIntire leaves behind two children: Anita Howell and husband, Bryan, and Delbert McIntire and wife, Wanda; nine grandchildren: Ruthann Stancell, Christopher White, Jeffrey Wood, Mary Jane Herod, Zachary Kovach, Charles Kovach, Cody McIntire, Benjamin McIntire, and Jules McIntire; along with several great grandchildren and extended family members.
In accordance with her wishes, Ms. McIntire will be memorialized by cremation, and no services are scheduled at this time.
