Douglas Rotary Club recognizes exceptional Wiregrass Georgia Technical College
students each month. The December 2025 recipient is Automation Technology student Jason Burkett. Mr. Burkett has been employed by Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC) for 14 years and will continue in a new role at PCC as he completes his studies in 2026.
Attending the ceremony were Bryan Luke, his teacher at Wiregrass Technical College and February 2025 Douglas Rotary honoree Jermaine Riley, an adult education professional at Wiregrass. Mr. Luke shared with the Rotarians how hard-working Mr. Burkett has been in his classes and how his commitment to PCC for over a decade is an example to fellow students of how to be a great employee.
