Eloise T. Porter-Taylor, age 92, of Douglas, GA, passed away peacefully at Lakeside Senior Living in Douglas, GA. She was born on May 24, 1933 the daughter of the late Mr. Carlie Lee Tanner and the late Mrs. Beatrice Johnson Tanner.
Her survivors include: five daughters, Patricia (Frank Smith) Hamilton of Douglas GA, Connie McCoy of Douglas GA, Dale (Gree Harper) Harper of Douglas GA, Janice Robertson of Douglas GA, and Teona Morris of Douglas GA; fifteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her first husband, Gerald T. Porter; second husband, Ashley Taylor; one son, Gerald Timothy Porter; father, Carlie Lee Tanner; and mother, Beatrice Johnson Tanner.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA.
Funeral Services will be held at The chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Paul Womack officiating. Interment will follow at the City of Douglas Cemetery.
