Emma Davis, age 75, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Davis was born on April 18, 1950, in Bacon County, GA, to the late Emory Lee Bryant and Vessie Mae Pringle.
Survivors include: one daughter, Tina Davis (Roger) Bullock of Douglas, GA; two sons, James Owen (Darlene) Davis of Jasper, GA and Robert Eugene (Shellie) Davis II; eight grandchildren, Jake Davis, Josh Davis, Cameron Davis, Ashton Davis, Brittany Grantham, Brandon Bullock, Scarlett Davis, and Laurel Davis; one sister, Naomi Waldron; two brothers, Eulice Bryant and Larry Bryant; eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by: husband, Robert E. Davis; one son, Ricky Eugene Davis; one sister, Elizabeth Whittaker; and two brothers, Ray Bryant and Lamar Bryant.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Pastors Gregory Pope and Jackie Pope officiating. The interment will follow the service at Harrell Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be: Cameron Davis, Ashton Davis, Brandon Bullock, Jake Davis, Leegene Waldron, and Kane Waldron.
