This year’s FBLA Fall Leadership Conference was an unforgettable experience for the Coffee High School FBLA Chapter. Students had the chance to explore a variety of workshops that focused on leadership, communication, teamwork, and real-world career skills. These sessions helped members strengthen important day-to-day abilities like problem-solving, public speaking, time management, and confidence skills that will benefit them far beyond high school.
One of the best parts of FLC was the opportunity to network. Students met new people from all over Georgia, made connections with other future business leaders, and heard advice from professionals who shared their experiences and success tips. Being surrounded by motivated students inspired everyone to step out of their comfort zones and grow as leaders.
Members also had the chance to compete in several events. Coffee High was proudly represented in:
Broadcast Journalism: Team 1: Sabinne Diaz, Jaleigha Williams; Team 2: Addie Ingalls, Tanya Patel
Career Portfolio: Dominic Mimbang
Future Business Educator: Valeria Vega
Impromptu Speaking: Xion Bell
Job Interview: Grayson Taylor
Social Media Strategies: Team: Doneisha Sheppard, Kaelyn Tanner, Terrell Torres
Monopoly Tournament: Team 1: Sabinne Diaz, Jaleigha Williams; Team 2: Diego Tomas, Valeria Vega
Dominic Mimbang advanced to State, showing incredible dedication and skill in his competition.
Overall, FLC was an inspiring and memorable experience. Students returned motivated, more confident, and ready to take on new challenges in FBLA and beyond. The CHS chapter is excited for the rest of the year and looks forward to even more success at both Region and State leadership conferences.
