The Coffee Lady Trojans are Final Four bound after defeating the Woodward Academy Lady War Eagles Wednesday night in College Park 73-62. The Lady Trojans were ranked #7 in the state while the Lady War Eagles were ranked #8.
Coffee trailed 22-16 at the end of the first quarter. At the half, the Lady Trojans had closed the gap and taken a 29-28 lead. In the third, Coffee found another gear and scored 22 points while holding Woodward to just seven. The Lady Trojans entered the final period up 51-35. The Lady War Eagles outscored the Lady Trojans in the fourth quarter but it was too little, too late. Coffee came away with the win.
Carrdreal Pearson had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Jasmine Porter led Coffee in scoring with 15 points. She also tallied nine rebounds. Other Lady Trojans on the stat sheet were Aria Paulk (13 points), Lexie Bradford (11 points), Iryonnia Lewis (eight points), and Jazmin Moody (six points). Lakener Edwards, Kolby Smith, and Nahla Franklin each scored two points.
Next up for Coffee are the #4-ranked Milton Lady Eagles in the semifinals. The two teams will play at Georgia State University on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 1 p.m. Tickets are available online through GoFan. The Lady Trojans are now 28-2 on the season.
