The Coffee Trojans have three alumni on college cross country teams this fall. Kate Merritt, a senior at West Point, is the lone Division I runner – and one of three former Trojans competing at the Division I level (football players Maurice Turner at Tulane and Tyrese Woodgett at Georgia Southern are the other two). Dillion Yarberry is a freshman at ABAC while Liam LeBrocq is running for the Valdosta State Blazers. Below are updates on their times this season.
Merritt has posted 5K times of 20:22 (Iona Br. Paddy Doyle Meet of Champions) and 19:06 (Maine-Army 2026, 11th). In the 6,000 meters, she has run a 22:40 (Lehigh Paul Short Run) and a 22:20 (Jasper Fall XC Invitational).
Yarberry has 8K times of 31:40 (GCSU Bobcat Invitational, 14th) and 31:22 (HOKA Nights of Thunder).
LeBrocq has 8K times of 27:11 (FSU XC Invitational), 26:20 (On Twilight at PR’Ville), and 26:36 (University of Montevallo Falcon Classic, 10th). He was also named Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week for the week of September 30.
