George Griffin, age 59, of Douglas, GA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2026. He was born on September 17, 1966 the son of the late George Wesley Griffin and Linda Gail Hall.
His survivors include: his beloved wife, Melinda Griffin of Douglas, GA; two sons, Amon (Jenny) Griffin of Douglas, GA and Dalton (Megan) Griffin of Douglas, GA; six grandchildren: Baby Griffin, Brian Griffin, Boyd Griffin, Landon Griffin, Kase Griffin, and Easton Griffin; mother, Linda Faye (Joe) Hall of Fitzgerald, GA; three sisters, Melissa McReady, Denise (Jeffery) Spivey, and Gina Johns; brother in law, Hugh McReady, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, George Westley Griffin and nephew, Evin McReady.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
