Glenda Rhonda Meeks, age 72, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. She was born January 17, 1954, to the late Hymerick and Florie R. Woods.
Her survivors include three sons: Mark Cribb (Lisa) of Winder, Georgia, Joseph Frank Meeks Jr. (Lisa) of Cartersville, Georgia, and Darrell Lonnie Meeks of Douglas, Georgia; three grandchildren: Corey Cribb (Cydny Bass), Morgan Cribb, and Tiana Meeks; two great-grandchildren: Cora Cribb and Maisley Cribb; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Glenda is preceded in death not only by her parents but also by her one brother, Buddy Woods.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, in the chapel of Sims Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Forrest Grove Cemetery.
