Commencement for Coffee High School and Wiregrass Regional College & Career Academy will take place Saturday, May 27, 8:30 AM at Dan A. Jardine Stadium. The stadium will be open for seating as of 7:00 AM.  The graduates’ procession will begin at approximately 8:15 AM and the south home gate will be locked at that time.

Tickets are not required for stadium entrance. However, graduates will be given 4 special rain day tickets for gym entrance in case of inclement weather. Seating for invited guests is available on both the home side and visitor sides of the stadium. A handicap area will be provided on the home side. Handicap seating requires an ORANGE handicap ticket that students may request in advance. The south visitor gate will be closed prior to and during the ceremony.

Following the graduates’ procession into the stadium at approximately 8:15 AM, the commencement ceremony will begin promptly at 8:30 AM. With the stadium opening at 7:00 AM, all family and guests are encouraged to make every effort to be seated prior to the beginning of the ceremony. Buses will be available if you need to ride from your parking area. There will be designated areas for pick up and drop off. The buses will be available from 6:30 am to 8:00 am. They will also run up to 1 hour after graduation. The buses will only stop at designated areas.

In case of inclement weather, graduation will be postponed for one hour increments until 12:00 noon.  At noon, if needed, the ceremony will be moved inside the Coffee High gymnasium.  Due to State Fire Marshal requirements, seating will be limited to the graduates, their family, and invited guests holding a GOLD ticket for gym admission. In case of rain, announcements will be made on all local radio stations and a message sent to parents via Kinvo beginning at 8:00 AM.

Out of respect to the graduates, all guests are asked to remain seated throughout the entire commencement ceremony.  The graduates of the class of 2023 appreciate everyone’s courtesy and consideration during this special event.  Guests are also asked to place cell phones on silent or vibrate during the ceremony.

If you have any questions pertaining to graduation on Saturday, May 27, you may call Coffee High School at 384-2094.

Just a reminder, the stadium will be open at 7:00 AM for seating and the South Home gate will be closed at 8:15 AM and remain closed during the ceremony.
