The Satilla Regional Library System hosted Mrs. Kate Carpenter, who performed her show Humble Hero Highlights with Mrs. Kate on Wednesday, July 15 at the Douglas and Pearson libraries.

The Humble Hero Highlights with Mrs. Kate show was about different ways each of us can be a hero to other people, animals, and the environment. Songs, puppets, singing, and acting scenes helped children understand about hero characteristics. Mrs. Kate had the audience participate by singing, dressing up as characters along with her songs, and holding up new vocabulary words as she sang about them and taught them to the audience, along with her hero theme.  The audience had a great time!

Mr. Ron Anglin of Quite a Catch Comic and Educational Juggling will be performing the show Heroes I Have Known on Wednesday, July 15 at 11 a.m. in Douglas and 2:30 p.m. in Willacoochee.  Please join us for the next performance.
