Satilla library system announces May children/teen events

Audio Spot Auditions for Children and Teens Ages 9-18 years of age!

Come and audition for a public service announcement to possibly be played on the radio! Auditions will be held at all locations in Douglas, Broxton, Ambrose, Pearson, Willacoochee, and Nicholls throughout the year. Please call Miss Julie at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222 to schedule an appointment at any of our locations. A permission slip must be signed by a parent/guardian before auditioning if under 18 and given to Miss Julie before auditioning. All branches include an assortment of board games, cards, and puzzles that can be played at any time. Come and check one out to use at each location.

Pearson: Monday, May 9 and 23 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Please come and join the fun as teens meet together to have a  great time with their peers planning young adult programs, helping order young adult books for the library’s collection, and planning fun activities for teens in 2016. Earn volunteer hours for participating in Teen Advisory Group. Refreshments will be served.
