Open House Dates for Back to School 2014-2015

Coffee County Schools will begin on Wednesday, August 6. In preparation for the opening of school, all schools will hold open house.

Schedules for open house:

  • Coffee High School:
  • July 28: 8:30 a.m.-12 noon * All Potential Honor Graduates (*Academic GPA 90 or above plus 2 honors tracks)
  • 1 p.m.-4 p.m. All Seniors – Class of 2015
  • July 29: 8 a.m.-4 p.m. All Juniors and Sophomores
  • July 30: 8:30 a.m.-11 a.m. Make up sessions for all grades

G.W. Carver Freshman Campus: August 5 – 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

Career Academy: July 31 – 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

Coffee Middle School: August 4 – 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

Elementary Schools: August 4 – 4 p.m.-6 p.m.

Alternative Education Center: July 30-August 5 – 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

When students arrive at Coffee High School Open House, they should come dressed according to Coffee High’s dress code, park in front of school, and enter the building at the bus entrance. While attending orientation, students will take care of the following:

  1. Have a Coffee High identification card made (Dress code appropriate).
  2. Complete Insurance, Free/Reduced Lunch, Internet, and Student Locator forms.
  3. Update head of household information sheet.
  4. Have yearbook pictures taken (Dress code appropriate).
  5. Purchase a yearbook.
  6. Lease a locker for one year. ($10)
  7. Purchase a parking decal. ($15)
  8. Walk the building with their schedules to locate their classes.
  9. Pick-up report card from the 2013-2014 school year.
  10. Attend club/organization presentations and visit booths.
