In their initial meeting, the advisory board members discussed ways they could support guest speaker opportunities and field trips for academy students. Part of the advisory board’s mission is to help make sure that courses, pathways and options that are offered at CHS are meeting the needs of the community. A discussion was brought to the board in regards to two new CTAE pathway options. The board gave valuable feedback in terms of community workforce needs and favored one particular pathway. The board will meet again in November to help advise and plan an exciting community event that will be a comprehensive academy project. CHS would like to extend a huge thank you to our community partners that choose to invest their time and talent to make this community stronger!
