On May 15, officers from the Coffee County Drug Unit caught a suspect attempting to flush illegal drugs down the toilet while serving a warrant.
An incident report from the sheriff’s office states that while serving the warrant on Wright, the officers found him flushing marijuana and cocaine down the toilet. They also found an additional quantity of suspected cocaine and a suspected oxycodone tablet in the bathroom as well as digital scales. The report says that the amounts of the drugs indicated they were for distribution.
Wright was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, possession of marijuana, and two counts of tampering with evidence. He was transported to the Coffee County Jail where he remains.
