Raymond Edward Brown, age 84, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023. Mr. Brown was born on February 11, 1938, in London, Ohio to Fred Edward Brown and Opal Brown.
Survivors include; Five Children: Julie Brown Roper (Jack) of Lebanon, TN, Melanie Jane Welch (Ronald) of Gainsville, TX, Brandi Renee Merritt of Broxton, GA, Raymond E. Brown Jr. (Annette) of Idaho and Virginia "Ginny" Brown Velarde (Ric) of Salt Lake City, UT, Fourteen Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews and longtime Companion: Judy Meloy. He was preceded in death by; Father: Fred Edward Brown, Mother: Opal Brown and Wife: Diane S. Brown.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home. Interment followed at Reedy Branch Cemetery.
