The Coffee Trojans track team made the short drive to Pierce County for the second meet of the season. Several Trojans had strong performances, which included first place finishes.
Ja’Maria Harvey won the 400 meter race with a time of 1:02.76. Allison Rivas placed first in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:59.23.
In the 1600 meter race, Josie Lott ran 6:29.61 for a first place finish. Breana Griffin finished first with a time of 20.60 seconds. The Lady Trojan 400 meter relay team of Breana Griffin, Iyani Johnson, Janiya Brown and Jamiah Hudson ran a 52.79 to finish first.
The Lady Trojan Long Sprints 3200 meter relay team of Nora Lott, Josie Lott, Allison Rivas, and Jade Hamilton finished with a time of 12:12.76.
Gabby McDonald finished with a personal record and first place finish with a throw of 32 feet and 5.25 inches.
Freshman Joshua Cribb finished the 800 meter run with a time of 2:27.05 for a first place finish.
In the 110 meter hurdles, Cupris Morgan finished first with a time of 22.16.
The 400 meter relay team of Travis Adams, Tyriq Edward, Anthony Paulk, and Tyrese Woodgett ran a time of 43.12 seconds.
The 800 meter relay team of Travis Adams, Tyriq Edwards, Anthony Paulk, and Tyrese Woodgett with a time of 1:35.07.
The long sprints group of Fabin Romero, Daniel Ornelas, Jordan Escobar, and Joshua Cribb finished 9:46.08 in the 3200 meter relay.
Tyriq Edwards jumped for a first place finish clearing 20 feet and 9 inches. Lorenzo Harvey placed first in the shot put clearing 38 feet and 2 inches.
