Mrs. Joyce M. Moore, age 87, of West Green, GA passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018, West Green, GA. Mrs. Moore was born on November 16, 1930, in Coffee County, Georgia to the late William Orville Meeks and Vernie Juanita Meeks and the widower of the late James C. Moore.

Mrs. Moore was a retired educator in Coffee County, GA., member of Coffee Atkinson Retired Education Association and active member of West Green Baptist Church. She was loved by all her children.

She is survived by: her son, Kerry Van Moore and wife Michele of West Green, Georgia; daughter, Sherri and husband Bobby Jenkins of West Green, GA; brother, E.L. and wife Bobbie Meeks of Axson, GA; grandchildren: Kaylon Moore, Kade Moore, Clint Jenkins, Courtney Chiasson; great grandchildren: Abigail Jenkins, Emma Jenkins, Copeland Chiasson, Atlee Chiasson, Emery Chiasson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceeded in death by: her husband, James C. Moore; and son, Terry Moore.

Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the West Green Baptist Church where Rev. Kevin Bounds officiated.

Interment followed at Burkett Baptist Church Cemetery.
