Mr. James Lamar Hall, age 68, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2026, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Lamar was born May 6, 1957, in Fitzgerald Georgia to Martha Jane Chaplin Hall and the late James Edward Hall. He worked on the assembly line in mobile home manufacturing for many years and retired from Fleetwood Mobile Homes. He was of the Baptist faith. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Hall.
He leaves behind two sons, Curtis Hall of Winder, Georgia, and Christopher Hall of Douglas, Georgia; several grandchildren; his mother, Martha Jane Chaplin Hall, of Ocilla, Georgia; six siblings: Patricia (Don) Alexander of Lax, Georgia, Randall “Randy” Hall of Pearson, Georgia, Debra Hursey of Douglas, Georgia, Susie Jewell of Broxton, Georgia, Jamie Vale Hall of West Green, Georgia, and Bradley C. Hall of Douglas, Georgia; along with his significant other, Lori Black of Alma, Georgia; and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Memorialization will be by cremation, and no services have been scheduled at this time.
