James Randy Davis, age 62, of Broxton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at his residence in Broxton, GA. Davis was born on May 16, 1963, in Douglas, GA to the late James Alvin Davis and the late Mary Frances Davis.
Survivors include: three sons, Jake (Kimberly) Davis of Ocala, FL, Randy Allen (Lila) Davis of Ambrose, GA, and Red (Lydia) Davis of Nicholls, GA; two daughters, Betsy Dutcher and Krissy Marfilius; special companion, Patty Dutcher of Broxton, GA; thirteen grandchildren: Toby Davis, Dakota Davis, Savannah Davis, Cole Davis, Jozy Davis, Logan Donnely, Lilly Dutcher, Georgia Davis, Rae Rae Davis, Alicia French, Raelyn Marfilius, Tynli Marfilius, and Jayne Nelson; great-grandson, Braxton Davis; two brothers, Michael (Mary) Davis and Alvin Davis; along with several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by: father, James Alvin Davis; mother, Mary Frances Davis; sister, Frances Louise Ortiz; brother-in-law, Renaldo Ortiz; and son, Derrick Adam Davis.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 15, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA.
Honorary pallbearers will include: Max Duque, Chavez, Jim Deen, Tyler Deen, Stacey Corbitt, Terry Banks, Bobby Thomas, and Sparky Jackson.
