Jane H. Gillis, age 73, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. Mrs. Gillis was born on May 18, 1950, in Douglas, GA to Allen Harper, Jr. and Ada Mae Chaney Harper.
Survivors include: Husband; Paul Gillis of Douglas, GA, Son; Jason Paul (Sara) Gillis of Douglas, GA, Brother; Jerry Allen (Thada) Harper of Douglas, GA, Three Grandchildren; Tymer Gillis, Eva Gillis, Cooper Gillis, Two Nephews; Alex (Blakely) Harper of Tifton, GA, Buster (Britton) Harper of Douglas
She was preceded in death by: Father; Allen Harper, Jr.; Mother; Ada Mae Chaney Harper .
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00 am West Ward Street Church of God with Rev. Britt Peavy officiating. Interment followed at City of Douglas Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home.
